A Few Things About Me
I’m a Chicago native, born and raised, with a strong foundation in both visual design and human‑centered problem solving. I earned my BFA in Graphic Design from Columbia College Chicago and later completed a Master’s in Human–Computer Interaction at DePaul University. I currently work as a Lead Product Designer, guiding product strategy and design execution across complex SaaS platforms.
I bring over 8+ years of professional design experience spanning marketing solutions firms, agencies, and SaaS companies. Throughout that time, I’ve led design efforts in fast‑moving, cross‑functional environments—partnering closely with product management, engineering, and stakeholders to deliver thoughtful, user‑driven solutions at scale.
As a design lead, I focus on setting direction, maintaining quality, and enabling designers to do their best work. I’ve managed and mentored teams of designers, supported their growth through feedback and coaching, and helped establish processes and design systems that scale across products. I balance strategic thinking with hands‑on design, staying close to the work while ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
My experience is deeply rooted in B2B and SaaS products, where clarity, usability, and system‑level thinking are critical. I’ve helped improve workflows for business users, modernize interfaces, and ensure solutions integrate seamlessly within complex ecosystems—always advocating for design decisions that are grounded in research and validated through collaboration.
Core skills include: design leadership and mentoring, cross‑functional collaboration, user research and competitive analysis, persona development, wireframing, UI design, design system ownership, prototyping, and communicating design rationale to executive and non‑design stakeholders.
